At Brancaster House Financial Planning, we're passionate about continually developing our knowledge so we can provide the highest standard of advice to our clients.

That's why we're delighted to congratulate our Mortgage & Protection Specialist Nathalie Claeys on successfully achieving the Level 3 Certified Practitioner in Specialist Property Finance (CPSP) qualification.

It's an important milestone, but more importantly, it reflects our commitment to helping clients navigate an increasingly complex property finance market with confidence.

What is the Certified Practitioner in Specialist Property Finance qualification?

The CPSP qualification has been developed by leading organisations within the specialist lending industry, including the Financial Intermediary & Broker Association (FIBA), the Bridging & Development Lenders Association (BDLA) and the London Institute of Banking & Finance (LIBF). It has been designed to raise professional standards and equip advisers with specialist knowledge across a wide range of property finance solutions.

The course covers areas including:

  • Specialist buy-to-let mortgages

  • Commercial mortgages

  • Bridging finance

  • Development finance

  • Lending structures

  • Regulation and Consumer Duty

  • Analysing lending proposals and suitable exit strategies

What does this mean for our clients?

For many people, a standard residential mortgage is only part of the picture.

Whether you're building a property portfolio, purchasing through a limited company, financing a commercial premises, exploring development opportunities or considering short-term bridging finance, specialist lending can be significantly more complex than traditional mortgages.

Natalie's additional qualification means she has an even deeper understanding of these specialist areas, allowing her to identify appropriate lending options, understand the different products available and work closely with lenders to help find solutions tailored to each client's circumstances.

Ultimately, it means our clients benefit from advice that is informed, up to date and backed by recognised professional training.

Investing in knowledge benefits everyone

The property finance market continues to evolve, with new products, changing regulations and increasingly diverse borrowing requirements.

At Brancaster House, we believe professional development isn't something you complete once; it's something you invest in throughout your career.

Natalie's achievement demonstrates our commitment to maintaining high standards, continually expanding our expertise and ensuring our clients receive knowledgeable, well-informed advice every step of the way.
